I love to use gemstones or semi - precious stones in my jewelry, either mixed in with silver or something simpler such as cord.
Recently I have been using AMAZONITE again which can range from beautiful blues to soft greens with peachy colours running through.

Some information about the believed properties of Amazonite....


Amazonite is the stone of Virgo.
The metaphysical properties of amazonite include:
Encourages self determinism
Balances extremes in moods and has a calming affect
Dissolves sadness
Encourages a healthy trust in God

Healing properties of amazonite:
Regulates metabolic disturbances
Dissolves cramps
Aids in childbirth
Strengthens the nerves
Helps with heart complaints due to grief


I think it's a beautiful stone and works so well with summer outfits! I've made earrings, bracelets and necklaces from it.

So what happened today?
Well it was sunny which makes a nice change from months of grey skies.
I collected my Mac from the Mac doctor, so lovely to have it back....no more stiff neck trying to see all my web pages in small iphone scale!
Walked the dogs, oh and had my horse shod at 8.30 this morning. A very hairy experience, literally, as she is shedding her winter coat like mad.
Picked the kids up from school, late, then came back and made them supper. About to take daughter to Brownies so shall have to leave for now....back later!

Well I'm back for a short period. Now I have my Mac back I have been able to post my newest listings.
